So we start another winter week with a weather advisory. I hope you have all your supplies... toilet paper, bread, milk and sewing project in case of any emergency. Also I want to let you know I am working and preparing for spring in the shop so if you "need"
something I am here. Please be careful if you venture out.
Last week Lynn Hagmeier and I worked out the plans for the Kansas Trouble Event.
Lynn is the Designer of Kansas Trouble fabric and patterns and Moda fabrics is the printing company for her fabric line. Lynn will be spending June 5th and 6th with us here. On Sunday June 5th Lynn will be at the shop for a meet and greet. (Everyone Welcome) Lynn will be bringing many quilts to share and you will be able to see many of them hanging on the barn, porch and in the greenhouse with the flowers.
On Monday June 6th Lynn will be sharing about her 10 years with Moda, the process of designing fabric and share her quilts with you. After lunch Lynn wil teach her raw edge applique technique to you using her quilt as you go method. You may sign up to attend just the morning session or both. Morning session $20 includes lunch or both sessions $50. Class space is limited. Registration forms are available in shop.
Last week several of you who signed up for e-mail was not able to get the link to the free pattern. Hopefully this helps.www.quiltstorewebsites.com/free-pattern.pdf
